Support Me During the Hyannis Port Best Buddies Challenge Bike Rike!
Hey Everyone!
I hope all is well. On June 5, 2010 I will be participating in a 100-mile road bike ride in the Best Buddies Hyannis Port Challenge. The Best Buddies is an incredible foundation dedicated to improving and touching the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They provide the individuals with lifelong friendships, opportunity for employment, and leadership roles.
Throughout my reign a Miss Massachusetts Teen USA, I have been so fortunate to work with remarkable organizations that touch the lives of others and improve their lifestyles one stepping-stone at a time. It has been such an honor to do so and is truly one of the greatest gifts I will ever receive. One of the great foundations I have volunteered my time with is Best Buddies through their Massachusetts Chapter. I have always wanted to take part in the Hyannis Port Challenge, which is a fundraiser, and event that does significantly impact and support the Best Buddies Foundations, and I now have my chance to make a difference. After all, the Hyannis Port Challenge is located right in my home state, Massachusetts!
I joined the Miss Teen USA Team that the current Miss Teen USA, Stormi Henley, established. I will ride alongside Stormi! I think it is going to be a challenging yet life-altering experience that will reunite some of the teens in the area for an extraordinary cause.
I plan to ride all 100-miles. It is my goal and I am going to work very hard at it in order to achieve that goal. I think it is important to show the world that through perseverance and integrity, you can achieve anything you set you mind to. As a former Best Buddy participant, Eric Mattes, once said, “I want to show the world that even though I have a disability, I can do anything I put my mind to.”
I hope that many of you will be there alongside me- whether it is through a donation or cheering me on along the sidelines. I want to make a difference in others lives through Best Buddies and plan to do so by participating in the Hyannis Port Challenge. I am hoping and praying that after reading this you will be willing to donate and sponsor me in my efforts to raise money for the Hyannis Port Challenge. Any amount- large or small would mean more to me than I could ever put into words. I have until May 24, 2010 to raise the $4,000.00 goal that I have set.
Any amount you can give will ensure Best Buddies continues to provide critical services and job integration for people with intellectual disabilities. And, your donation is tax deductable!
Here is how you can donate: You can donate easily and securely by clicking on my personal fundraising webpage link located below. Here you can read more about the Audi Best Buddies Challenge, see my fundraising goals, and read why it is more important than ever to support Best Buddies Programs.

I am so excited to participate in the Audi Best Buddies Challenge! With each day, I train harder and longer. With each dollar you donate, you bring me one more mile closer to my goal. Thank you in advance for your generous support! I truly hope that you will support me along with the rest of the Miss Teen USA Team. I greatly appreciate everything and anything. And remember- you too can make a difference!
All My Best,
Brooke BIbeault
