On April 25th, several of the Miss state titleholders in New England held a sendoff. The sendoff was a fashion show featuring Bless by Bless clothing in support of breast cancer awareness for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. It was a great way to kick off the start of an amazing journey at Miss USA for four lovely ladies: Miss Connecticut USA, Miss New Hampshire USA, Miss Vermont USA, and Miss Rhode Island USA. The fashion show featured all four of the girls that were headed to Vegas as well as Miss Rhode Island Teen USA, Erica Wright and Miss Vermont Teen USA, Shelby Gregoire. The theme was interesting because it was "rocker chick" meet "fashionista." I had a wonderful time being able to catch up with my sister states, Vermont and Connecticut as well as reconnect with my friends from Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Not to mention, I was able to see some of my pageant family!
